Cultivation: Cavendish banana – Naturally grown, air-dried, and sustainably hand-harvested. The process includes cleaning of the fruit, peeled, macerated, milled, deseeded, pasteurized, dehydrated, sifted, filling and packing.

Qualities: Banana Flakes can be used to relieve pain and burning symptoms of occasional heartburn or to stimulate appetite, and is safe for enteral feeding patients, diabetics and renal patients. High in pectin and free of psyllium, gluten and wheat, it has superior water capabilities, does not slow gut motility, and helps to thicken stools. As such, this powder can also be used to help manage occasional diarrhea.
